Liposomal technology encapsulates active ingredients within tiny lipid molecules called liposomes. Liposomes are tiny spheres with bilayer membranes. The outer layer is hydrophilic while the inner layer is hydrophobic. The phospholipid molecules used are structurally similar to those that make up the membranes of human cells. This unique structure allows for improved absorption ofthe encapsulated nutrients.
